I mean my problem was that I had already all the trees positioned where I wanted so I used Tool-Arrange Objects-Duplicate Command to create the instances and thus maintain the trees in their original location without having to move anything, I would then hide (via traffic lights to red) the original objects keeping only the Instances, however with Render Instances option nothing can be hidden has no real physical Instance is created so would this mean that when I hit render the original objects are all being treated as Render Instances meaning I dont have to hide anything? or is Instances my only option here instead of Render Instances since I dont want to move anything?
